Deactivating users, transfer and deletion of records

Deactivating a user leads to a license release and prevents that user from logging into Salesforce while preserving their historical activities and records..

Transferring records is done via an internal tool and is available for the following objects: Accounts, Leads, Contracts, Custom objects. The transfer takes place from one user to another and one can choose to transfer the related records.

Nota:

The transfer of records and deactivation can occur in any order. A user record can not be deleted.
