Cloud Computing
Cloud Computing
Cloud Computing denotes the use of remote servers (usually accessible over the Internet) to process or store information. Access data using a web browser. Saving files online to a server is an example. The software itself can also be hosted by an outside party. The interest of Cloud Computing is twofold. It is a form of file backup. It allows working on the same document from several workstations (several people working on the same document or a mobile worker on the move) of various kinds (laptop or fixed computer, tablet or even Smartphone). Its disadvantage is the lack of control of the documents’ owner on the storage and even on their geographical location.
